Myrrh has a distinctive fragrance that combines warm resinous richness with earthy, woody undertones. Its naturally deep base-note profile makes it particularly useful for meditation, reflective home fragrance and more complex essential oil blends, where it can help anchor lighter top and middle notes and extend the overall aromatic character.

For diffusion, add 4–8 drops to a diffuser. For massage, dilute 3–5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil. For carefully diluted skincare use, add 1–2 drops to a moisturiser or facial oil, or use 5–10 drops with a suitable dispersant for bathing. Myrrh also blends particularly well with lime, May Chang and spike lavender.
