Clove bud essential oil has a strong, unmistakably spicy fragrance with warm aromatic depth. Its intense character makes it particularly suited to diffusion and carefully diluted aromatherapy blends, where only a small amount is needed to introduce the familiar richness of clove.

For massage or topical use, dilute 3–5 drops in 10ml of carrier oil. For diffusion, add 4–5 drops to cold water, or use 2–3 drops with hot water for inhalation.
