Cypress essential oil combines fresh herbal notes with woody, slightly coniferous character, making it a versatile choice for diffusion, diluted massage, bathing and carefully prepared skincare blends. Its crisp aromatic profile also works well in room fragrance when a clean, outdoors-inspired scent is wanted.

For diffusion, add 4–8 drops to a diffuser. For massage, dilute 3–5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil. For carefully diluted skincare use, blend 1–2 drops with a moisturiser or toner, or add 5–8 drops to warm bath water. Cypress also blends well with lemon, frankincense, lavender, eucalyptus, cedarwood, bergamot and peppermint.
