A timeless floral essential oil with exceptional versatility

Lavender essential oil has a soft, recognisable floral fragrance that works naturally in diffusers, room fragrance and carefully diluted body-care routines. Its balanced middle-note character also makes it a useful blending oil, complementing citrus, herbal, woody and resinous fragrances without overpowering them.

For massage or topical use, dilute 3–5 drops in 10ml of carrier oil. For diffusion, add 4–5 drops to cold water, or use 2–3 drops with hot water for inhalation. For bathing, add 5–10 drops to water or a suitable carrier oil before stirring into the bath. Lavender also combines particularly well with green mandarin and frankincense.
