A soft floral middle note with fresh citrus nuances

Palmarosa essential oil has a rounded floral fragrance with natural sweetness, rosy nuances and a subtle citrus lift. As a middle note, it works particularly well in aromatic blends where it can soften brighter citrus oils and complement deeper resinous fragrances. It can also be enjoyed through diffusion, diluted massage, bathing and carefully prepared body-care blends.

For diffusion, add 4–8 drops to a diffuser. For massage, dilute 3–5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil, or blend 1–2 drops with a carrier oil or moisturiser for carefully diluted skincare use. For bathing, add 5–8 drops to warm water. Palmarosa blends particularly well with geranium, grapefruit, frankincense and ylang ylang.
