A clean herbal aroma with distinctive camphorous character

Sage essential oil has a fresh, penetrating fragrance that combines sweet herbal notes with a cool camphorous edge. Its balanced middle-note character works well in diffusion, inhalation, diluted massage and bathing, while also bringing a clean herbal element to more complex essential oil blends.

For massage or topical use, dilute 3–5 drops in 10ml of carrier oil. For diffusion, add 4–5 drops to cold water, or use 2–3 drops with hot water for inhalation. For bathing, add 5–10 drops to water or a suitable carrier oil before stirring into the bath. Sage blends particularly well with bergamot, lavender, lemon, geranium, orange, tea tree and rosemary.
