A distinctive resinous oil with citrus-spice freshness

Elemi essential oil brings together bright lemony freshness, a gentle peppery edge and deeper balsamic, woody undertones. Steam distilled from the resin of Canarium luzonicum, it can be enjoyed through diffusion, diluted massage, bathing or carefully prepared skincare blends, while its layered fragrance combines particularly well with other resinous, herbal and citrus oils.

For diffusion, add 4–8 drops to a diffuser. For massage, dilute 3–5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil, or blend 1–2 drops with a moisturiser or serum for carefully diluted skincare use. For bathing, add 5–8 drops to warm water, while 2–3 drops can be added to hot water for steam inhalation. Elemi blends particularly well with frankincense, myrrh, lavender, bergamot, lemon, rosemary and cedarwood.
