A distinctive herbal oil with sweet, aniseed-like warmth

Fennel essential oil has a rich aromatic profile combining earthy herbal notes with a naturally sweet fragrance reminiscent of aniseed. It can be enjoyed through diffusion, inhalation, diluted massage or bathing, and also works well as part of more complex floral, citrus and herbal essential oil blends.

For massage or topical use, dilute 3–5 drops in 10ml of carrier oil. For diffusion, add 4–5 drops to cold water, or use 2–3 drops with hot water for inhalation. For bathing, add 5–10 drops to water or a suitable carrier oil before stirring into the bath. Fennel blends particularly well with geranium, ylang ylang, lavender, grapefruit, orange and sage.
