Lemongrass essential oil combines a sharp lemony fragrance with fresh grassy and herbal nuances. Its bright aromatic profile works particularly well in diffusers and room fragrance blends, while it can also be incorporated into carefully diluted massage, bathing and body care routines.

For massage or topical use, dilute 3–5 drops in 10ml of carrier oil. For diffusion, add 4–5 drops to cold water, or use 2–3 drops with hot water for inhalation. For bathing, add 5–10 drops to water or a suitable carrier oil before stirring into the bath. Lemongrass also combines well with floral, resinous and woody oils, including geranium and myrrh.
